What is the size of your bracelets?

Our bracelets are 18 cm. However, small deviations may occur since the bracelets are handmade and the gemstones don’t always have exactly the same size.

Our bracelets our designed for regular wrists, measuring 15 to 17 centimetres. In case you have a different wrist size, please contact us so we can tailor the length for you.

The best way to determine whether our bracelets fit is to measure your actual wrist size. You can use a flexible tailor’s tape and measure by fitting it right above the wrist bone.

What materials do you use?

We use a variety of 2mm gemstones, both faceted and non-faceted, as the core of our bracelets. Miyuki beads - high quality Japanese glass beads - surround these precious beauties. And last but not least we finish with gold-filled elements for a shining and long-lasting appearance. (Check also “What does 14 KT gold-filled mean and what’s the difference with gold-plated?”)

What does 14 KT Gold-Filled mean and what is the difference with Gold-Plated?

Gold filled is the closest alternative to solid gold when it comes to quality and value. It consists of a thick layer of 14KT gold, bonded with a base metal, giving it the same appearance as solid gold. Gold filled items – even with daily wear – don’t tarnish, wear out and can last a lifetime. It is perfectly safe for all kinds of skin and completely allergy free.

Gold filled has about 100% more gold than gold plated. Gold plated contains only a thin layer of gold, plated on a variety of base metals. Friction can easily cause the plating to rub off, revealing the underlying metal, that can stain your skin green and cause allergic reactions.

How can I best take care of my bracelet?

You can wear our bracelets day and night (also during sleeping, bathing and showering). However, keep in mind that some factors can influence the shine and colour like cosmetics, salt water, excessive heat, chlorine and other chemicals.

Although the14 karat gold-filled elements will not tarnish, they can get dirty. Using a clean, soft cloth is an ideal way to polish the gold-filled pieces. When it comes to cleaning gemstones you can wipe the gemstones thoroughly with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth.
